Let's start with antibacterial soap and toothpaste...we wash our hands and brush our teeth every day so let's be informed about what's in them.

April is my Whole House Cleaning Month - from top to bottom.  But in the past I think I made things worse by the products I chose to clean my house (think mini-asthma attack after "self-cleaning" my oven).

So, after lots of research, I switched up many (remember, this is a big process...it's okay to make small changes, as long as they are good changes) of the products in our home.

I really enjoy reading this blog and especially this most recent post....Modern Mrs. Darcy - The 2016 Reading Challenge

I have a love of books and this year's challenge intrigues me.  I always put together a list of books I plan to read during the year, but this time I might need to add a few from Mrs. Darcy's challenge.  I generally never read a book twice (except in Book Club when one of the other attendees chose "The Great Gatsby"- and oh how delightful it was to read the book for fun as opposed to knowing your were going to be tested on the material at the end) - but this year I might just have to pull out one of the classics from high school.  Do I even remember what I read in high school....sigh!  ;-)

I tried to mix up the fiction and non-fiction, but my reading list seems to be always more weighted toward the non-fiction side of things.

I was saying my nightly prayers last evening, and it suddenly dawned on me that I wanted to impress something upon my children's hearts. "I just want you to know that you are ALWAYS ENOUGH!"  I know we all live our lives trying to accomplish more professionally, to visit more places, to see more things, to do more, to be more - but in the end, my children need to know that they are complete and enough just the way they are.  Yes, I want them to strive to be wonderful Christians, great students, caring friends, team-worthy athletes - but from my perspective, their mother's point of view, they are always enough!  They don't HAVE to be more - I love and cherish them just the way they are.  Just like my Heavenly Father cherishes me just the way I am.

So, the next time you are sitting on the sidelines of the soccer game, or in the stands at the baseball game, or looking over their science experiment, or watching them draw something wonderful - remind them that they don't have to be better, or more, or perfect... they are ENOUGH!  So says our Heavenly Father.

Why I signed up for Young Living Essential Oils?

About a year ago I started seriously looking into what my family was eating, cleaning with and using to stay healthy.  I began researching companies and products to try and 1) educate myself, and 2) begin to make healthier choices when purchasing products like groceries, vitamins, cleaning products and personal care products (like shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, etc.)

Do I have to sell Young Living products in order to become a Wholesale Member?  What if I just want to use the products?

NO.  There is no obligation to sell oils when you become a wholesale member.  But, if you ever change your mind, you can start at any time.  Young Living has great educational tools for members, and I am always available to help in any way I can. 

Is there anything else I should know?
